Two Years Master's Programs
The Swedgrad portal provides information on two-years Master's program given at Örebro University and Dalarna University. Following the Bologna process standards, the two-year Master's include both courses and thesis writing, totalling 120 ECTS credits. Those Master's programs provide further advanced tools at the theoretical and applied level, preparing for both specialized positions in the labor market and for further doctoral studies. Master's in Economics and Econometrics (2 years, 120 ECTS) @ Örebro University
This Master's programme focuses on the use of economic theory and econometric methodology as tools for understanding, modelling and evaluating economic and political issues in society as a whole or in particular sub sectors. Students are provided with the skills needed to construct, use and critique models used in all areas of finance, microeconomics and macroeconomics.

Master's in Business Intelligence (2 years, 120 ECTS) @ Dalarna University
From autumn 2011, as the first higher education institution in Sweden and one of the few in Europe, we are offering a master's programme in Business Intelligence.
As one of our students you will be makin the best investment for your career. One requirement is that you have a Bachelors in, for example, computer science, statistics, informatics, finance, or similar.
With us you can build a cross-disciplinary platform by learning about technology, analytical methods, and business. We provide cutting edge scientific and practitioner expertise and a vast network of experts to become part of. You become an e-governance expert able to provide the necessary cross-sector integration necessary to manage change in situations with multiple and conflicting interests, including departmental and business interests, regulatory and legal standards and norms, and human and social concerns.

Master's in Applied Statistics (2 years, 120 ECTS) @ Örebro University
A focus on statistical practice and statistics as a profession is central to the program. Hence, one key component is the Statistical consulting modules where students meet practitioners and work on real projects. At the same time the program does not compromise on academic rigour and provides a good preparation for students who want to pursue a PhD degree. The main goal of the program is that the students will gain a solid foundation in statistical theory, methods and practice. The students will be able to independently design and conduct statistical projects and act as statistical consultants to subject matter specialists.
